Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Francisco Hernandez displayed excellent pacing in the 2026 Runtastic NEBO 10K. His overall time of 42:25 with an average pace of 6:50 min/mile secured him 14th place overall out of 330 runners, and 9th among males. Impressively, he achieved 2nd place in his division, M35-39. Analyzing the splits, Francisco ran a first-mile pace of 7:00 min/mile but quickly improved, clocking his fastest mile at 6:39 min/mile in the second lap. Despite a slight slowdown, he managed to push harder towards the end with a strong final mile of 6:38 min/mile. His consistent performance in maintaining sub-7:00 min/mile splits speaks to his effective race strategy. For future races, maintaining focus on the final stretch could help in gaining even more places overall. Great job in the division, Francisco!
