Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Damien Davis demonstrated excellent pacing and endurance throughout the 2026 Runtastic NEBO Marathon, maintaining a consistent average pace of 7:44 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, he showed a strategic acceleration from mile 16 onwards, peaking at a swift 6:05 min/mile during the 16th mile, which secured him a strong finish. His performance placed him 5th in the M25-29 age division out of a competitive field. Damien's early splits were commendable, maintaining a fairly steady pace with mile split times consistently around the 7:40 min/mile mark until the final stages where the pace understandably slowed. Despite the slight deceleration towards the end, he completed the marathon in an overall time of 3:23:01. For future races, focusing on maintaining that quicker pace from the later miles throughout could enhance overall performance even further. Great job, Damien!
