Her splits remained relatively steady between 5:22 and 5:44 minutes/mile, showcasing consistent pacing. Notably, Laura achieved her fastest overall placement at the 11th mile, securing a leading position in her gender category. Laura's performance was commendable in her division, placing 3rd overall in female divison and gender categories. Her strategic pacing in the middle of the race secured her a spot among the top runners, including the second-best position in the 9th mile with a 5:29 minutes/mile. As a coach, focusing on the latter splits could potentially improve future results, particularly tightening paces from mile 8 onwards could enhance her overall time and position.
