Strong Finish with Excellent Division Leadership Jared Bray from Provo, UT, demonstrated consistent improvement in his splits during the 2026 Runtastic NEBO 5K. He started with a 7:32 min/mile pace but increased his tempo in the second mile to 7:17 min/mile. Notably, his final mile split was 6:38 min/mile, showcasing a significant increase in speed. His effort yielded an impressive overall time of 22:02, with an average pace of 7:06 min/mile. Jared led his M40-44 division, finishing first. Across all male participants, he finished 4th, and he placed 7th overall out of 211 competitors. Encouragingly, the last segment of his race not only secured him first place in his division but also demonstrated his ability to maintain a strong finish.
