Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Lead to Top Performance Braden Perry maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Ogden Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course in 2:25:57 with an average pace of 5:34 minutes per mile. He started strongly with a 5:33 pace in the first mile and demonstrated remarkable stamina by holding a steady pace, particularly between miles 7 to 17, consistently ranking first in his gender and overall standings. By improving his pace to 5:20 in the 22nd mile, he showcased his ability to sustain and even accelerate in later stages. Perry's overall performance was commendable, finishing 2nd overall out of 1808 participants and achieving 2nd in his category. His fastest splits were recorded in the 4th and 20th miles with split paces of 5:26 and 5:25, respectively. Despite a slight slowdown in the last few miles, he demonstrated endurance and strategic pacing.
