Exceptional Pacing and Strategic Finish Trever Webb demonstrated remarkable progress throughout the 2026 Ogden Marathon Half Marathon, culminating in a strong 3rd place finish in his division, M30-34. Starting with a moderate 7:58 min/mile pace for the first mile, Trever accelerated impressively in subsequent miles. Notably, between miles 3 and 5, he significantly improved his pace from 7:15 to 6:42 min/mile, moving up substantially in overall and gender standings. This strategic pacing early in the race set him up for excellent final miles. His final mile was particularly noteworthy, sustaining a 6:19 min/mile pace, and securing an overall place of 24th out of a field of 3,332 participants. Consistent with his strong performance, Trever maintained a top-three position in his age division for the latter half of the race. Continuing to improve his pace in the middle and concluding miles could enhance his performance in future races. Great effort, Trever. Keep up the momentum!
