Consistent Performance With a Strong Start Relay Roadrunners maintained a strong and consistent pace at the 2026 Ogden Marathon relay event. Their splits revealed a steady start, running the first six miles with a consistent pace between 7:38 and 7:58 min/mile. The teams overall splits showed a slight negative split pattern until they hit the 10th mile. Notably, they improved their overall standing significantly from 5th to 2nd place from the 7th to the 18th mile. Although the speed in the latter part of the marathon slowed down, leading to an average pace of 8:28 min/mile, the team successfully secured 4th place out of 53 participants. For future races, maintaining consistent pacing in the latter miles could help maintain that excellent early momentum. Finishing with a total time of 3:42:13, Relay Roadrunners showed commendable effort and secured a top-tier position in their gender category. Wonderful team coordination from Riverdale's own!
