His average pace was 5:35 min/mile, significantly faster than last year's time of 1:19:48. Notably, Pedro maintained his leading position in the M Masters (40+) division throughout the race, ultimately securing first place in his division. Pedro consistently sped up each mile, with highlights at mile 10, clocking a split time of 5:11. His excellent pacing strategy helped him improve his overall rank to 4th out of 3332 participants, compared to a previous 16th.
