Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Relay Wayfinders showed impressive consistency throughout the 2026 Ogden Marathon Relay, ending with an overall time of 3:36:59 over 26.2 miles. The team maintained a strong start with Split 1 at 6:37 min/mile, holding second position for the majority of the race. There was a notable burst during Splits 3 to 7 with paces between 6:11 and 6:24 min/mile, demonstrating a robust middle segment. Particularly impressive was their improvement in Split 7, completing it at a 6:01 min/mile pace, temporarily taking the lead at Split 8. While the team experienced a gradual decline in pace from Splits 12 onwards, finishing at a steady 8:17 min/mile in Split 26, their overall performance remained commendably robust. They finished 2nd overall against 53 total participants. Maintaining earlier momentum and strategizing pace distribution could be key areas to enhance future performances.
