Strong Finish for Team Diamond at the Ogden Marathon Team Diamond demonstrated a commendable performance at the 2026 Ogden Marathon Relay, maintaining consistency and resilience throughout the race. They completed the marathon in 3:53:10, achieving an overall pace of 8:53 min/mile. Notably, their performance was particularly strong in the latter part of the race, with splits from mile 18 onwards consistently under 8:00 min/mile, culminating in an impressive final mile split of 7:46. This solid progression is reflected in their final placement, ranking 11th overall. Despite some slower splits, particularly between miles 14 and 17, Team Diamond effectively picked up the pace towards the end. From mile 18 to the finish, they demonstrated remarkable focus and endurance, significantly improving their standing. Encouragingly, the final mile saw them climb to 5th place, showcasing a capacity for rapid pace under pressure. In future races, maintaining an even pace during the middle section could translate into an even stronger overall performance.
