Consistent Improvement with Strong Finish Relay Ogden Clinic PT, on Janeen Christensen's Team, delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Ogden Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:46:13 and an average pace of 8:38 min/mile. The team improved significantly from last year's marathon relay, where they clocked in at 4:23:27 with a pace of 10:03 min/mile. This year, they placed 9th overall and 8th in their gender category out of 53 total participants. Key highlights include a strong finishing burst in the last seven miles of the course. From Mile 19 onwards, the team increased their pace considerably, hitting splits as low as 7:35 min/mile by Mile 20. This strategic effort in the latter part of the race helped solidify their position, culminating in a final placement of 4th in split position for the marathon's last mile. Future efforts could focus on maintaining steady splits in the earlier miles to prevent mid-race pacing decline.
