Consistently Strong Performance from Start to Finish Gabriel Lara, a 12-year-old from Ogden, UT, maintained a remarkably consistent pace throughout the 5K event at the 2026 Ogden Marathon. Starting with a split of 8:27 min/mile, he gradually increased his pace, achieving an impressive final split of 8:11 min/mile. His overall elapsed pace was 8:15 min/mile. A consistent improvement in place within the M0-13 division was noted, moving up to finish as 3rd. Gabriel secured 14th in his gender category, out of a total of 653 participants. Notably, he finished 3rd in the M0-13 division.
