Strong Start with Consistent Leadership Relay High Mooners delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Ogden Marathon with a final time of 4:02:50. Starting at a brisk pace of 7:50 min/mile, the team impressively maintained the lead, securing the 1st place in the female gender category for most of the race. Notably, the team reached the 8-mile mark at 1:03:56, achieving their best corresponding overall position of 3rd. The pacing was consistent, although a gradual slowdown was observed after the halfway point. Despite the latter decrease in pace, the relay maintained determination, showing excellent team coordination and resilience throughout. Although they briefly slipped to 2nd place in their gender category, the team finalized their marathon relay in 17th overall, 2nd in the female gender category out of 53 total participants. To enhance future performance, the team could focus on maintaining earlier paces during later miles, particularly after the midpoint. Overall, excellent leadership and consistent results were displayed.
