Consistent Speed Pays Off Kyden Sanders finished the 2026 Ogden Marathon 5K with an impressive elapsed time of 22:13, maintaining a consistent and strong pace of 7:10 min/mile. Starting with a 7:39 min/mile pace, he improved to 7:32 min/mile in the second mile, and finally sped up to a remarkable 6:30 min/mile in the last mile. Kyden showed exceptional pacing improvement throughout each split, showcasing his strategic endurance and speed efficiency. Kyden secured the 7th place overall out of 653 participants, and demonstrated his prowess as he placed 1st in his age division (M0-13). Impressively, he moved up the ranks from 13th after the first mile to 6th by the finish. In terms of gender placement, Kyden also finished 5th among male competitors.
