Consistent Performance with Strong Gender Placement Relay Tri Omega from Grants Pass, OR, demonstrated impressive consistency at the 2026 Ogden Marathon, finishing with a total time of 4:12:05 over the 26.2-mile course. The overall pace of 9:37 min/mile was maintained with little variation despite the nature of long-distance events. A noteworthy detail is the ability to maintain the first male position through the initial 6 miles, gradually transitioning to finish as the second male overall out of 53 participants. The strength of Omegas performance is evident in specific splits, such as mile 4s strong 8:53 min/mile and mile 8s 8:52 min/mile, showcasing a capability to push faster early on. However, from mile 11 onward, there was a discernible slow down. Continuing to focus training on maintaining speed in the latter half of races could translate into even stronger finishes.
