Consistent Pace Secures Division Victory Peyton Scott delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Run on the River Half Marathon, finishing with a time of 1:43:43, maintaining an average pace of 7:54 min/mile. Her steady pacing enabled her to secure 1st place in the F30-34 division. Notably, during the second mile, Peyton improved her pace markedly to 6:32 min/mile, briefly moving up to 2nd place in her gender category. While maintaining a strong and consistent performance, Peyton finished 20th overall and 4th in her gender category out of 228 participants. Throughout the race, she steadily held her position and reclaimed 4th place among females starting from the eighth mile. A gradual return to sub-8-minute miles in the later stages was a key feature of her race, closing the final mile at 7:44 min/mile. Improvement in maintaining similar paces to her second mile could potentially elevate her podium potential in future races.
