Consistent Pacing with Strong Start Tanner maintained a strong and consistent pace throughout the 2026 Runtastic Steel Days 5K, finishing with an elapsed time of 19:15 and an average pace of 6:12 min/mile. Notably, his performance placed him 4th in the Male 14 & Under division, an impressive result given the 472 participants. He began the first mile strongly at 5:51 min/mile. Although there was a slight slowdown to 6:41 min/mile in the second mile, he effectively regained pace with a 6:13 min/mile split for the third mile. This reflects a commendable ability to recover swiftly after a pace drop. Continuing to refine pacing strategies in the second mile could optimize future performance.
