Consistent Performance with Strong Division Dominance Chad Walton showcased remarkable pacing with a steady performance in the 2026 Runtastic Dino Half Marathon. Starting with a mile split of 7:12, Chad gained momentum and consistently improved his pace, hitting impressive splits such as 6:27 in the third mile. Importantly, his strategic pacing kept him comfortably leading the M55-59 division from start to finish. Although his pace slightly dipped towards the end with an 8:36 for the 13th mile, Chad maintained control, completing the race with an overall time of 1:33:52, averaging a 7:09 min/mile pace. Chad's unwavering effort placed him 14th overall among 524 participants, and 11th in his gender category. His first-place division finish in M55-59 highlights both tactical acumen and endurance. Continuing to focus on maintaining late-stage pace could further enhance his overall performance in future races.
