Consistently Strong Performance Kayla Valdez maintained an impressive and consistent effort throughout the 2026 Runtastic Dino Half Marathon. She finished with an overall time of 1:32:46, maintaining an average pace of 7:04 min/mile over the 13.1-mile distance. Among the over 500 participants, Kayla secured the 11th position overall and was the 3rd female to finish, showcasing her strong competitive skills. Her split times highlight her consistent strategy, with a notable acceleration during the early stages, maintaining sub-7-minute miles for much of the race, and only slightly easing in the final stretches. Achieving 14th place overall by mile 6 and improving her standing as she proceeded, Kayla hit her best split of 6:40 at the 5th mile, demonstrating effective pacing and endurance. Focusing on maintaining stronger closing miles could potentially improve her finishing time and positional standing further.
