Strong Relay Performance with a Consistent Pace The relay team "Running on Friendship and Bad Decisions" put on an impressive display at the 2026 Runtastic Marathon. Finishing the marathon in 3:32:02, they maintained a steady average pace of 8:05 min/mile. Starting off strong with the first mile at 8:12, they managed to progressively improve their pace, hitting a notable time of 6:58 on mile 8. The team showed resilience by staying in the top 25 overall positions from mile 5 onwards, finishing in 25th place among a field of 193 participants. The teams performance stood out, particularly in the later stages, where despite some slower splits after mile 16, they efficiently secured 9th place among relay teams. This consistency suggests great teamwork, and the cohesion was especially visible in their ability to speed up significantly mid-race.
