Consistent Early Leadership and Resilient Finish Expedition 3:30 from Provo, UT showcased a strong performance in the 2026 Runtastic Marathon, completing the marathon distance of 26.2 miles in a time of 3:23:31. Their early pace was impressive, maintaining splits around the 6 to 6:30 min/mile mark, where they found themselves as high as 3rd place overall and leading their category by the 5-mile mark. Despite a gradual slow down after the halfway point, with splits eventually falling to the 8 to 9 min/mile range, they held their focus and finished with an overall pace of 7:46 min/mile. This strategic allocation of effort helped them secure 4th in the relay category among a field of 193 participants. They demonstrated great resilience and ability to manage their race strategy, a great example for maintaining strong overall category placement throughout the race.
