Strong Finish with Consistent Pacing and Strategic Progression Team Daniels from Lehi, UT delivered a commendable performance at the 2026 Runtastic Marathon, finishing the 26.2-mile course in 3:30:02. The team maintained an overall pace of 8:01 min/mile, securing 24th place overall among 193 participants and 8th among relay teams. Notably, they stayed competitive throughout the race, with their gender category positions either holding steady or improving as the marathon progressed. Analyzing their splits reveals strategic prowess, particularly in the latter half of the race. After starting with a pace between 8:25 and 9:02 min/mile for the first 5 miles, Team Daniels gradually accelerated in the subsequent splits, reaching a swift pace of 6:29 min/mile by mile 16. The late-race split times, the 9:46 and 10:04 min/mile, indicate a possible area for slight improvement in maintaining their earlier momentum. Excellent pacing and teamwork showcased their strength as a relay team.
