His opening kilometre was his quickest at 6:52, and he reached 2 km in 14:19. From 2 km onward, his pacing stayed fairly consistent: 7:27, 7:26, 7:42, then a stronger final kilometre at 7:23. That late lift after the fourth kilometre is a useful positive. For future races, aiming to smooth the gap between the first and fourth kilometres could help him hold more even momentum across the full distance.
