Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Aamir Ansari #3097 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong negative split with pace improving every kilometre Aamir Ansari completed the 5K in 35:33, covering 5.00 km at an average pace of 7:06/km. He placed 244th in the Male 3640 division and finished ahead of roughly 40% of the 5,624 participants. Representing South Asian Run Club, he raced at Run The Wharf, the closed-road Canary Wharf evening 5K. His pacing was the standout stat: each kilometre got quicker after the opening 8:19, followed by 6:25, 7:06, 6:54, and a fastest final kilometre of 6:51. He moved up from 265th to 239th in his age group by 4 km before settling at 244th at the finish. That steady recovery after the first kilometre shows good composure; a slightly sharper start could bring the overall time down further.
