Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Jasmine Kaur #4516 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick opening kilometre set up a steady 5K Jasmine Kaur completed the 5K in 38:08, averaging 7:37/km over 5.00 km. Her fastest segment was the opening kilometre in 6:53, and she reached 2 km in 14:18 at 7:09/km overall. She finished 3,578th of 5,624, with places of 1,598th female and 481st in the female 2630 division. After the strong start, her middle kilometres moved to 8:18/km and 7:56/km before she closed with 7:38/km, a solid response over the final kilometre. That late rebound is a useful stat: she was able to lift pace again after the slower middle section. For the next race, aiming for a more even rhythm after 2 km could help turn that quick opening speed into a faster overall result at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K.
