Strong finish with your quickest kilometre Jessica completed the 5K in 29:26, averaging 5:53/km. Running in Londons evening Canary Wharf closed-road event, she stayed close to her average pace throughout. Her splits were steady: 6:00, 6:00, 5:51, 5:57, and 5:41 per km. The standout stat was the final kilometre, her fastest of the race and 19 seconds quicker than her opening pace. As a coaching note, the strong close suggests she could likely press a little earlier over the middle kilometres next time.
