Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Arshad Jamula #2553 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast opening kilometre set up a solid sub-26 finish Arshad covered 5.00 km in 25:48, averaging 5:09/km. He placed 1,466th of 5,624 overall, putting him ahead of a large share of the field, and 268th in the male 2630 division. His fastest kilometre was the first in 4:48, showing strong early speed on this closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharf. After that quick start, his pacing settled to 5:18, 5:28, 5:06, and 5:10 per km. The strongest section after halfway was km 4, where he regained pace well and held it to the finish. As a coachs note, a slightly more even effort between km 1 and km 3 could help him carry that opening speed deeper into the race.
