Fast opening kilometre set up a solid 5K Sara ran 5.0 km in 25:16, averaging 5:03/km. She opened sharply with a 4:41 first kilometre, then reached 2 km in 9:38. Her closing kilometre was a steady 5:00, showing she regained rhythm well late in the race. She finished 325th woman and 113th in the female 2630 division. The key stat is the contrast between the opening speed and the middle of the race: 4:41 for km 1, then 4:57, 5:20 and 5:19 before improving to 5:00. That suggests strong early speed and a good late response, with the biggest opportunity in pacing the middle 2 km more evenly.
