Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Olivia Davis #3308 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish with a Faster Final Kilometre Olivia ran 5.00km in 31:53, averaging 6:22/km. She finished 2,835th of 5,624 overall, 1,092nd among women, and 338th in the womens 2630 division. Her opening 4km were very steady at 6:18, 6:30, 6:40, and 6:30, showing controlled pacing through the closed-road Canary Wharf course. The standout stat was her last kilometre: 5:57/km, her quickest of the race and 33 seconds faster than her overall average pace. She also moved up from 2,953rd overall at 1km to 2,744th by 2km before holding fairly consistent position. As a coachs note, building on that late-race speed by aiming for a slightly stronger third kilometre could help convert this solid finish into a faster overall 5K next time.
