Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Louise Benjamin #2247 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick start, then a steady fight to the finish Louise Benjamin completed this 5.0 km evening race in 36:54, averaging 7:22/km. She placed 83rd in the female 4650 division, 1,551st among women, and 3,504th overall out of 5,624. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 6:47, and she reached 2 km in 13:58. From there, the middle section slowed, with kilometres 3 and 4 both at 10:49, before a stronger close over the final 1.0 km to bring the average back to 7:22/km. That early pace shows good speed for the distance; the main opportunity is holding a steadier rhythm after 2 km. In a fast, closed-road Canary Wharf 5K built around Friday Night Lights after-work atmosphere, that finishing lift was a positive way to close.
