Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Lucas Le Saux #620 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Start and Fast Finish Over 5K Lucas covered 5.00 km in 48:37, averaging 9:43/km at Run The Wharf in Canary Wharf. He placed 296th in the Male 1825 category out of a 5,624-runner field. His quickest kilometres were the first and fifth, both at 8:59/km, which stands out as a strong opening and closing effort. His pacing trend was 8:59, 9:56, 11:11, 9:36, then 8:58 per km. He improved position notably by 2 km, moving from 3,907th to 3,696th overall, before a slower middle kilometre. The rebound over the final 2 km was a positive: 18:34 for the last 2 km at 9:17/km average. As a coachs note, aiming for a steadier middle section would likely bring down the overall time while keeping that strong finish.
