She covered the first 2 km in 12:27 at 6:13/km, her quickest stretch of the race, and reached 3 km in 19:06. In a field of 5,624, she finished 1,132nd female and 239th in the Female 3135 category. Her pacing showed a fast start followed by a gradual slowdown: 6:11, 6:16, 6:40, 6:46, then a stronger final kilometre of 6:28. That last km was a good response after the mid-race drift. For the next outing, aiming to hold the early rhythm a little longer through kilometres 3 and 4 could bring down the overall average pace. Run The Wharfs evening closed-road format in Canary Wharf suited a quick opening section well.
