Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Helena Schweiger #3093 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish and Well-Paced 5K Helena covered 5.00 km in 30:44, averaging 6:08/km. She placed 42nd in the Female 4650 division, 949th female, and 2603rd overall out of 5624. Running for EBRD Runners at Run The Wharf, she delivered a controlled effort across the closed-road evening course in Canary Wharf. Her pacing was steady through 4 km: 6:19, 6:09, 6:17, and 6:10 per km, then she closed fastest with a 5:50 final kilometre. That late push was the standout stat and brought her average pace down well over the closing section. She also moved up notably after the opening kilometre, improving her overall position from 2807th at 1 km to 2569th by 3 km and holding that through 4 km. For future races, a slightly quicker first kilometre could help unlock an even faster overall time.
