Her pacing was steady early, with the first 3 km tightly grouped at 7:48, 7:54, and 7:53, then she lifted well over the final 2 km with 7:43 and a fastest closing kilometre of 7:14. That late acceleration is the standout stat: she cut 34 seconds per km from her opening kilometre to her final one. She also moved up from 363rd to 338th in her age group during the race. In an evening 5K built for quick running through Canary Wharf, this was a well-controlled effort with a strong close.
