Fast Start Set Up a Strong 5K Patricia ran 5.00 km in 22:57, averaging 4:35/km. She finished 159th female out of a field of 5,624 overall participants, and 55th in the female 1825 division. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 4:08, and she reached 2 km in 8:37 and 3 km in 13:17. The pacing trend was clear: 4:08, 4:29, 4:40, 4:56, then a small rebound to 4:46 for the final kilometre. That late pickup was a positive sign after the slower fourth kilometre. As a coaching note, a slightly more controlled first kilometre could help her hold closer to mid-race pace deeper into the run. At a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, this was a solid result with a strong opening and a composed finish.
