Fast opening 2K set up a solid 21:12 5K Lewis ran 5.0 km in 21:12, averaging 4:14/km, and finished 481st of 5,624. He placed 59th in the mens 3135 division. His strongest position came at 2 km, when he had moved up to 446th overall and 60th in division after opening with 4:06 and 4:09 kilometres. From there, his pace stayed competitive with a controlled second half: 4:20, 4:24, then a slight lift to 4:16 in the final kilometre. That late response was a good sign, especially after the quickest section came early. For the next race, aiming to hold closer to the 2 km rhythm through kilometres 3 and 4 could trim more time. At Run The Wharf, a closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that consistent pacing fits the event well.
