Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Olga Kolesnik #2602 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady 5K with a Strong Closing Kilometre Olga ran 5.00 km in 30:29, averaging 6:05/km. Her fastest kilometre was the first in 5:55, and she finished well with a 5:59 final kilometre. Across the full race, her kilometre splits were 5:55, 6:03, 6:24, 6:10, and 5:59, showing a brief slowdown in the middle before she regained pace late. She placed 106th in the Female 3640 division out of a field of 5,624 overall. This was a solid, controlled run on a fast closed-road 5K in Canary Wharf. A useful next step would be aiming to hold the early and late pace more evenly through kilometres 3 and 4. Finishing the last kilometre under 6:00/km is a good sign that she still had strength at the end.
