Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Satwik Tirunahari #6150 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish with a Fast Closing Kilometre He completed 5.00 km in 43:37, averaging 8:43/km. His fastest kilometre was the opening 1 km in 7:28, and he closed well with an 8:00 final kilometre, his second-fastest of the race. Through 4 km he held a steady rhythm after the early pace change, covering kilometres 3 and 4 in identical 9:05 splits. Among 5,624 runners, he placed 290th in the male 1825 category. A notable stat: he gained places in the second kilometre before settling into consistent mid-race pacing. For the next outing, the biggest opportunity is to smooth out the difference between the quick first kilometre and the slower second kilometre; a more even start could support a stronger average pace across the full 5K.
