Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Margaux Moro #4437 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Controlled pacing with a fast closing kilometre Margaux ran 5.00 km in 20:41, averaging 4:08/km. She finished 49th female out of a large field of 5,624, with a strong age-group result of 21st in the female 2630 category. Representing EBRD Runners, she delivered a well-paced evening 5K through Canary Wharfs closed roads. Her kilometres were notably steady: 4:08, 4:14, 4:13, 4:12, then a quickest final kilometre of 3:56. That late surge was the standout stat and brought her overall position up from 529th at 1 km to 412th at the finish. The main coaching takeaway is positive: the closing speed shows good reserve. With a slightly sharper second kilometre, she could turn this into an even quicker overall time.
