Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Anish Khadka #5839 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish with Fastest Closing Kilometre Anish completed the 5K in 30:19, averaging 6:07/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 239th in the mens 1825 division. His pacing was steady through 4km: 6:05, 6:06, 6:16, and 6:10 per km, reaching 24:35 at 4km. The standout stat was his final kilometre in 5:44/km, his quickest of the race and 26 seconds faster than his opening kilometre. He also moved up from 252nd to 239th in his division by the finish. That closing speed is a good sign. As a next step, aiming to hold closer to early-race rhythm through the third kilometre could bring the overall average down further on another fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf.
