He moved up from 591st at 1 km to 468th at the finish, gaining 123 places overall. The fastest kilometre came at the end, showing strong finishing speed after the slower fourth kilometre. Next step: aim to hold the 4:074:11/km rhythm more evenly through 34 km to convert that closing speed into a lower overall time.
