Quick Start, Then a Steady 5K Through 4K Kim completed the 5K in 32:31, averaging 6:30/km. She opened with her fastest kilometre at 6:18, then ran 6:27, 6:38, 6:35 and 6:34. The first 2K came in 12:45 (6:22/km), and she reached 4K in 25:57 before closing the final kilometre in 6:34. A notable stat: her position improved from 2910th at 1K to 2759th at 2K, and she held 2798th through 3K and 4K before finishing 2934th out of 5,624. That points to a strong early move and solid mid-race control. For next time, aiming to keep kilometres 3-5 closer to her opening 2K pace could trim time from the overall result. Run The Wharfs evening closed-road format suited a brisk opening well.
