Strong finish with progressive pacing Natalia covered 5.00 km in 28:14, averaging 5:38/km. She placed 639th female and 208th in the female 2630 category, finishing inside the top 37% overall in a field of 5,624. Running with Canary Wharf Run Club, she raced the closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharfs financial district. Her pacing was the standout stat: 5:42, 5:44, 5:52, 5:31, then 5:27 per km. After a slightly slower third kilometre, she responded well with her fastest two kilometres to close, cutting 25 seconds from km 3 to km 5. She also moved up from 785th to 639th among women by the finish. A useful next step is aiming to hold that late-race 5:305:31/km rhythm a little earlier.
