Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Paul Alexander #1026 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Even pacing and a strong age-group finish Paul ran 5.00 km in 23:38, averaging 4:43/km. He placed 32nd in the Male 4650 division, 624th male, and 962nd overall out of 5,624 runners. That age-group result stands out most, especially in a large evening 5K field through Canary Wharf. His pacing was steady across all 5 kilometres: 4:43, 4:37, 4:50, 4:45, and 4:45. The quickest kilometre came in the second, and he limited the slowest to just 13 seconds off that pace. He moved up from 37th to 32nd in his division over the course of the race, a good sign of controlled effort. For future gains, a slightly stronger third kilometre could help turn that consistency into a faster overall time.
