Strong negative split and top-25 female finish Moya ran 5.00 km in 19:44, averaging 3:57/km. She finished 24th female, 9th in the female 1825 category, and 294th overall out of 5,624. That puts her in roughly the top 5% overall and well inside the top 1% of women in the field. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, she backed up that result with excellent pacing. Her split trend was the standout stat: 4:09, 4:07, 3:59, 3:51, and 3:40 per km. She got quicker at every kilometre and moved up from 65th female at 1 km to 24th by the finish. The final 2 km averaged about 3:46/km, compared with 4:08/km for the opening 2 km. That finishing strength is a real asset; with a slightly more assertive opening kilometre, there may be scope to lower the overall time further.
