Strong finish and steady pacing progression Anna completed the 5K in 32:47, averaging 6:33/km. She placed 80th in the Female 4145 category, 1,191st female, and 2,983rd overall out of 5,624 finishers. Representing EBRD Runners, she improved position through the race, gaining 422 overall places from 1km to the finish. Her pacing trend was the key stat: 6:49, 7:00, 6:49, 6:36, then 5:34 for the final kilometre. That closing kilometre was 1:26 faster than her opening kilometre, showing a very controlled effort and strong finish. The first 3km were consistent within 11 seconds, then she accelerated well over the last 2km. As a coachs note, carrying that 4th kilometre rhythm a little earlier could bring down the overall time further in future evening 5Ks like this fast Canary Wharf event.
