His opening kilometre was the quickest at 3:50, followed by 4:07, 4:08, 4:14, then a good rebound to 4:01 in the final kilometre. The pacing pattern shows strong early speed and a composed finish after the slowest section in kilometre 4. As a coachs note: with slightly more even pacing through the middle 3 km, there is clear potential to move this performance closer to the low-20 or sub-20 range.
