The pacing pattern is clear: a very aggressive first kilometre, then a gradual slowdown before a stronger finish. A slightly more even effort after 1km could help convert that early speed into a faster overall time. Run The Wharfs evening closed-road format suited a quick opening, and he still finished with a composed last kilometre.
