That final km was 30 seconds quicker than her opening km, a clear sign of good control and a strong finish. She moved up well over the first 4 km, improving from 2,534th overall at 1 km to 2,212th by 3 km, while rising from 884th to 719th among women. Finishing 720th of 5,624 overall put her in the top half of the field. From a coaching view, the closing speed stands out; with a slightly sharper first 2 km, she could turn that late strength into a faster overall 5K on this quick Canary Wharf evening course.
