Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ashutosh Mishra #4508 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish and Well-Paced 5K Ashutosh ran 5.00 km in 24:19, averaging 4:51/km. He finished 1124th of 5624 overall, placing in the top 20% of the field, 741st male, and 138th in the Male 3135 division. Running with Canary Wharf Run Club, he improved his standing steadily from 1301st at 1 km to 1124th at the finish. His pacing was a clear strength. After opening in 4:55 for the first kilometre, he stayed controlled through 3 km at 4:58/km overall pace, then closed strongly with his fastest final 2 km: 4:45 and 4:39. That negative split shows good judgement and finishing speed. As a coachs note, there may be scope to commit slightly earlier in the middle kilometres, while keeping this same strong closing pattern.
